The River Raisin Conference tournament team (renamed the Southern Michigan Timberwolves in 2008) began play in 2001 by traveling to the annual Bowling Green tournament in Bowling Green, OH. The team had a strong showing, finishing in 6th place out of approximately 30 teams.
 
Since that year, the Timberwolves have traveled to Bowling Green every year, representing the River Raisin Conference.  The team finished with an all-time best finish in 2008.  
 
In addition to the BG tournament, the Timberwolves have played in other tournaments since 2006. Below is a brief history of each team, their roster, and tournament finishes.

2009 Southern Michigan Timberwolves
The 2009 Southern Michigan Timberwolves competed in four tournaments, finishing with an overall record of 8-7, giving the tournament team its seventh straight winning season.  The T-Wolves finished third place in its own tourney, and 4th place in the Bedford Invitational, highlighting the team's accomplishments on the season.  Mason's Dan Killion took home the home run trophy at the Bedford Invitational, winning the home run derby by slugging 11 over the fence.

2008 Southern Michigan Timberwolves
The 2008 edition of the Southern Michigan Timberwolves was arguably the best team assembled in the eight-year history of the RRC tournament team program, capturing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in three tournaments played. In all, six players returned from the 2007 roster, providing proven experience in the summer's tourney play. At the BG tournament, four players combined to hit a T-wolves record 8 home runs.

2007 River Raisin Falcons
The 2007 team was the youngest team ever assembled, with 6 13-year-olds on the roster. However, the team still performed well on the field, finishing runner-up in the Blue Streak/Bullldog Baseball Bash, and 7th place at BG.

2006 River Raisin Falcons
The 2006 team was the first RRC tournament team to compete in more than one tournament, going to the South Farmington tournament, near Detroit.  The Falcons won that tournament, the first ever tournament championship for a RRC tourney team.  They beat a strong Custer team coached by Ray Fritz to win the title.

2004 River Raisin Falcons
The River Raisin Falcons finished the Bowling Green tournament in 6th place for a second consecutive year.  In addition the team took home the sportsmanship trophy awarded to the team and fans who display the highest level of sportsmanship in the tournament.

The River Raisin Falcons finished the Bowling Green tournament with a 1-2 record, the lowest finish by a RRC all-star team. The draw was difficult, as the RRC All-stars had to open play against the eventual champions of the tournament.

The debut of the River Raisin Falcons saw the team end the BG tournament with a 6th place finish, losing their elimination game by a run.
